DNREC will host a virtual open forum to allow members of the public to comment on the agency’s review of regulations that have not been amended in the last four years. Public comment period closed.

As part of this review, conducted in accordance with 29 Delaware Code, Section 10407, the Department is seeking public comment as to whether or not the regulations subject to this review should be amended or possibly eliminated.

In addition to three public hearings – one in each county during June – DNREC Secretary Greg Patterson would like to provide an additional opportunity for the public to engage in the regulatory review process and provide public comment.

Comments provided during the three public hearings (Docket #2025-R-OTS-0010), at the open forum and via the methods outlined below through July 11, 2025, will be considered as part of the regulatory review.
